The Radiation Oncology Community

Radiation Oncology is such an exciting industry to be a part of and I consider an honor and a privilege to work alongside such dedication professionals for such an important cause.

Starting K. Regan Consulting LLC has been an incredible journey, and there's no way I could have done it without the amazing support, belief, and encouragement from my colleagues in radiation oncology (like the incomparable Linda Alfred beside me in the picture below). From brainstorming sessions to impromptu discussions, your insights and expertise have been invaluable.

Radiation Oncology is such an exciting industry to be a part of, and I consider it an honor and a privilege to work alongside such dedicated professionals for such an important cause. I want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who believed in this vision and contributed their time and knowledge to help make it a reality.

I have been working in the field of radiation oncology since 2016. Originally, all I knew about Rad Onc was from family members who had been through it for treatment of various cancers. I consider it a sacred privilege to work in this field. In 8 years, my knowledge has grown exponentially but I still feel as though I am only at the very tip of the iceberg. From day one, I have been drowning in acronyms but I can proudly say that I know what most of them stand for now! And even understand what they imply for patient treatment. Watch this. TPS- Treatment Planning System. VMAT- Volumetric Arc Therapy. SRS- Stereotactic Radiosurgery. And I didn’t even have to google it! (insert cheeky wink here)

I often joke about how I am just studio art major that got really lost and wound up here. But I have no doubts this is where I meant to be and I can’t imagine working in any other field. Not only is the mission noble and necessary, I am beyond grateful to get to know the people pushing the cause forward.

To make it very clear, I AM WINGING IT. But luckily, my friends, family, and cohorts are those wings. Thank you all for being part of this adventure and for helping turn a dream into reality. Here's to many more successes together!
